Bird House Additions and Alterations

Addressing the needs of a changing lifestyle was the primary motivator for these recent upgrades to the architect’s original 2005 design. These upgrades took place over time as separate projects. A guest room was carved out of attic space and connected to an upstairs sitting room. A dining room was added under the footprint of an upper floor deck. The kitchen was modernized and a coffee bar added. The primary bathroom was upgraded, including replacement of the vanity and retiling of the shower. Finally, the outdoor spaces were enhanced with pavers, fountains, and landscaping. The end effect is a house and yard that fits the owners in their current stage of life.
