Farley-Wann House Museum

The City of Madison was gifted the historic Farley-Wann House located in the Madison Station Historic District. The City wanted to restore the two-story, approximately 2,500-square-foot house and adapt its use to a museum that will showcase how life was during the 1920s-1940s in Madison. A master plan was developed to locate potential parking, bus drop-off for schools, exhibit and gallery space, as well as a future pavilion to use as an event space. A survey of the existing conditions was performed and areas requiring attention were identified. The top priority during this phase was to replace the damaged roof and get the building watertight. The initial funds available were used to address those items.  The City is currently fundraising for the future phases of restoration.
