Resonant Pointe was an exciting project which was seeking to change the way buildings are designed and built in the downtown fringe around the Hospital. It encouraged pedestrian activity on the street level, provided offices and housing above , and was environmentally responsible. The project saught to be the first LEED certified building in downtown Huntsville, seeking LEED silver certification.
The first floor spaces was to contain retail and/or restaurants. They would open onto a broad sidewalk and a public plaza to the south. The second floor would contain office space and featured a shared balcony overlooking the Plaza. The third and fourth floors were to contain contemporary loft-style condominiums, designed to be efficient and affordable. These units would contain high ceilings and will have magnificent views from large windows and balconies. A rooftop fitness area and green roof garden would cap off the design.
