Rainbow Mountain Estate
At the terminus of the estate’s scenic drive sits a well-crafted residence. The generous volumes of the house are designed to allow light to flood in through the paneled walls and timber beam roof structure. The residence contains many sustainable features, including a large solar array feeding power back to the grid, a recirculating solar water heater, a geothermal mechanical system, and rainwater harvesting. A living roof encloses the indoor lap pool on the top while large glass doors enclose the view side. This pool connects to a circular gathering pool and waterfalls over the edge, visible to guests pulling up to the front of the house.
