Twickenham Carriage House

This historic carriage house, listed as a contributing structure within the Twickenham Historic District, was reimagined as a multipurpose playroom and exercise space with a workshop below. Working within the Huntsville Historic Preservation Commission guidelines, the design preserves the character of the original structure by carefully removing, repairing, and reinstalling its existing wood siding while rebuilding the failing roof. New windows and modern doors replace long-lost original openings, bringing natural light into the space and giving this historic carriage house a thoughtful new chapter.
