This stand-alone Japanese restaurant was intended to replace an existing location in a nearby strip center. In addition to highly functional kitchen and dining areas, the restaurant was to feature a large sushi bar, tiami rooms, meeting rooms, and a full-service bar, accessible from the dining room or an outdoor dining area. The striking shape of the building was reinforced by its contemporary interior, with paneled walls, illuminated millwork, and exposed structure.
