Incredible views of Lake Guntersville influenced the form and arrangement of spaces for this custom residence. The site falls steeply from the access road and is quite narrow. Patio doors from the Great Room, Rec. Room and Guest Bedrooms allow the spaces to flow onto the decks, where the distant views can be enjoyed. Much of the material and many of the house’s components were repurposed from the house that previously occupied the site. This downsized retirement home was designed to be efficient, durable, and sustainable while also being comfortable and inviting.
